We measure every opening individually, fabricate to fit, and fix into brickwork rather than the window frame. The bars come off only with the wall.
We also build expandable trellis gates for doors, garages and shopfronts — fabricated in our own workshop rather than bought in, so the size is right and the hinges are welded, not riveted.

How much do burglar bars cost per window?
A small bathroom window starts around R750, a standard bedroom window around R1,400, and a large lounge or sliding-door window from R2,800. Prices include fitting.
Do you make trellis gates or buy them in?
We fabricate them ourselves. That means the gate is built to your actual opening rather than forced to fit a standard size, and the joints are welded rather than riveted.
Are bars fixed to the frame or the wall?
We anchor into brickwork. Bars fixed only to the window frame can be levered out with a crowbar, which defeats the purpose. This is the biggest difference between a proper installation and a cheap one.
Can you fit a trellis gate to a garage?
Yes. Garage and shopfront trellis gates are a regular job for us — they let you leave the door open for air and light without leaving the opening unsecured.
Do you fit escape bars for bedrooms?
Yes. We can build a hinged or removable section on bedroom windows so there is a fire escape route. Worth discussing before we fabricate.
