Fencing that deters.
A fence that bends is a fence that failed. The difference is post spacing, foundation depth and whether the pales are welded or just clipped on.

What you get
The posts do the work.
Fencing fails at the base long before the pales give way. We set posts in concrete at the right depth and spacing for the height and the ground, then weld rather than relying on clips.
Fencing is the one job we won't price from a photograph. Terrain, access and gate positions change the cost more than the length does — so we come and measure, free.

Why fencing is quoted on site.
| Job | From |
|---|---|
| Palisade 1.8 m, guide range | R950–R1,800 / m |
| Matching pedestrian gate | R2,500 |
| Matching vehicle gate | On measure |
| Farm perimeter | On measure |
| Storm / impact repair | On inspection |
That per-metre range is a guide only. Sloped ground, rocky soil, corner posts and gate openings all move the figure — which is exactly why the measurement is free and comes first.

Questions people ask
Fencing, answered.
How much does palisade fencing cost per metre?
As a guide, 1.8 metre palisade runs roughly R950 to R1,800 per metre installed. The spread is wide because terrain, height, pale type and gates all affect it. We measure free before quoting.
Why won't you quote fencing from a photo?
Because we would be guessing. A hundred metres on flat soft ground and a hundred metres over rock and a slope are very different jobs. We would rather spend twenty minutes measuring than change the price after you have accepted it.
Do you fence farms and smallholdings?
Yes. Farm perimeters are among our larger jobs and we quote after walking the line. We can phase the work if you would rather do it in sections.
What is devil's fork?
Devil's-fork pales have splayed spikes at the top which makes climbing considerably harder. They cost more per metre but are the usual choice where security is the main concern.
Do you supply matching gates?
Yes, and it is worth doing at the same time — a matched gate and fence line looks deliberate, and it is cheaper to fabricate together than to add later.
